This concert will be a special one. In an effort to explore creative ways for different cultures to collaborate, Apparat Organ Quartet will be working with Seattle autor Ryan Boudinot

APPARAT ORGAN QUARTET: SÍRÍUS ALFA

by Simone 14. June 2012 14:49

When NME reviewed Pólýfónía in November, they called it icy and brilliantly foreboding future-rock. Sírírus Alfa is without a doubt one of the best tracks of the album, and now New Wave Films' Ryan Simpson has teamed up with the only quartet with five members in the world. Probably also the only organ quartet that draws comparisons to both Kraftwerk and Motörhead... Ok, nevermind - here it is, a great trip into outer space.

You can read more about New Wave Films right here.  And you can buy the sweeeet AOQ tune right here. Enjoy!

We Love Gabi & Klaus

How can you not love a DJ Team with this facebook-picture on their site? This Freiburg DJ Team clearly rock like it was neunzehnneunundneunzig!

Check them out at Fez Buch.

Behind the moniker we find Caro who, although a journo (haha), is an all round great gal from southern Germany and Matze, who is one of the forces behind the very nice and very Crunchy friendly mailorder service Flight 13 and the excellent feinschmecker label Rock Island (with limited edition releases by Crunchsters PowerSolo, Heavy Trash and the Tremolo Beer Gut).

OK.
