I feel I need to explain how I came across this one so no one thinks I'm really weird or anything (not that I ain't but you know). One of my favourite albums from 2009 was Girls: Album. I thought it was released on Matador Records but found out it was on True Panther Sounds who was bought by Matador last year. And being a nerd I had to check out that label (slogan: WE DO NOT BELIEVE IN TIME. GET INTO IT!) and in their blog I found this here little thingy:

It's one of the most appalling yet strangely alluring video clips I've ever seen. I hope you enjoy it half as much as I continue to do!

Our friends in Choir of Young Believers toured the US last year and at KEXP radio they did a really cool live session. And to make this Crunchy Frog related, I'll just post this really nice live recording of COYB's cover of First Floor Power's "God Damn Your Fingers" off our 15 year anniversary release "Saluting the Crunchy Frog-a-logue". That Jannis guy really can sing!

If you're willing to defy the strange European weather you'll have a good chance of seeing one the best live bands around this very month. Heavy Trash hits The Netherlands Thursday the 14th and roams on to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and Belgium. People! We forgot to tell you all that we were competitors in a big YouTube battle in Copenhagen last month. As you might suspect it was kinda like a iPod Battle only with YouTube videos. We fought 19 year olds, environmental NGO's, bands and douche bags - all with nothing better to do than sit in front of computers watching stupid low quality videos day and night. So of course we didn't win, but we made it to round two. Wuhuuu! And like this article says, it was mainly because of a clip with a monkey peeing itself in the mouth... Last week we threw a nice housewarming party here at the new HQ. Together with our roommates Greathouse, Gearbox, Bad Afro, Nürnberg Design, NTOV and Molim we handed beer, drinks and hotdogs out to the crowd of happy guests.
