Doin' It the Muppet Show Way!
This weekend PowerSolo locked themselves up in the grand movie studios of Zentropa in Avedøre with a filmcrew and some puppeteers with their hands up the asses of some crazy puppets to shoot a new beautyhilarious video to the smashing new single "Oak Tree Girl."

The video is directed by the danish award-winning director Anders Morgenthaler (Kashmir and Superheroes among others) and the result is really awesome!

Below the PowerSolo boys hang out at the set with the puppets and the directoer of the video Mr. Anders Morgenthaler. Bo seems to have a problem with the lap steel playing, sun glass wearing Worm. Avtually the Worm is controlled by Tor Fruergaard who directed the video for "Juanito".

Through the song PowerSolo takes you on a crazy musical journey. The opening shot (seen here)features country boy Kim Kix peacefully strumming his guitar under an old oak tree. The sun rises on the green hills and soon he is joined by all kinds of friendly, silly animals: Two sheep, a lapsteel rocking rainworm and a big, nice hippo, who plays the drums.

The whole thing pays great hommage to the legendary Muppet Show, and the feel good scenes with visiting musicians jammin' with the Muppets.

At the end of the video you also get the pleasure of seeing Bo Atomix and Jens Benz dressed up as human pumpkin heads singing along to the great countryballad.

As a special star featured in this video we find the lovely actress Liv Corfixen known from several succesful Danish films. In "Oak Tree Girl" she is playing what is bound to be the greatest role of her carreer: The Hippopotomus. She's just smashing in the role.
